Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Gigi! The baker and heart behind Crumble & Sage. I’m American Tunisian, a Pittsburgh mom, and a lifelong baker who turned years of encouragement from friends and family into a business of my own. Inspired by my roots and the city I’ve called home for over a decade, I create small-batch desserts that pair familiar comforts with a Mediterranean twist of fresh fruit, citrus, nuts, herbs, and warm spices. Everything is thoughtfully made with the hope that it brings a little joy, connection, and something truly delicious to your table.

I know everyone says it but I never imagined I would be fortunate or brave enough to embark on this journey. And I know I did not arrive here alone. I am so incredibly thankful to my husband for holding everything down, and previously asking me almost daily for years when I was going to ' start a bakery'. A huge hug and heartfelt thank you to my parents, family, and friends who tasted something I made and encouraged me to keep going over the years. From the little girl in this photo who simply loved to experiment in the kitchen for a little afternoon treat to the woman and mom building Crumble & Sage today, I am a mosaic of everyone I’ve met, loved, and learned from along the way. This dream may carry my name, but it was built with the love, patience, and support of so many people, across many countries, and I will never stop being grateful for that.
I could never thank you enough for being part of my story and my community. It means more to me than I could ever put into words.
